What's at the heart of my business?

Before I ever had children, I knew I wanted to be at home with them as much as possible.

I get to spend as much time as possible with my two daughters and we have an incredible amount of freedom.

Having worked a conventional 9-5 office job for many years while training as a psychotherapist in my 20’s, the idea of self-employment and working the hours I chose myself really appealed to me.

I knew deep down that I could create a different work life balance that would allow me to see more of my children in real life, rather than just as a screensaver photo.

Going on to breastfeed and attachment parent my two daughters in my 30’s, the sacrifices and the work I put into training as a psychotherapist really have paid off!

Alongside my psychotherapy clinic, I also get to help people learn about natural health using essential oils.

Both businesses allow me to work from home and be available for a lot of each day with my daughters.

We spend the time after homeschooling cooking, cleaning, going for walks, reading and I’m learning more about their interests. We also get to go on picnics in the snow and drink hot chocolate on days like today.

And of course there are arguments with 3 women in the house!

If you were to follow your heart and listen to your inner voice and intuition, what kind of life do you want to create for yourself and your family?

What would your ideal week look like?
